Marcelo Reggiardo - Director

Marcelo is the Principal of Alianza Services, LLC, a full service office interiors dealership, an authorized Herman Miller dealer and a certified Minority Business Enterprise. Alianza's footprint covers the entire New York tri-state region directly, and has national capabilities through a network of associated dealers.

Under Marcelo's leadership, Alianza has quickly established a powerful reputation, impressive track record and significant client roster among Fortune 500 companies and government agencies including Nielsen, Citicorp, Merck & Co., Johnson and Johnson, New York State, MBIA, Swiss Re, Jet Blue, NBC Universal, Purchase College, Interactive Brokers, DASNY and SUNY.

Marcelo honed his general management skills and sales leadership with OCASA, a leader in the international logistics and transportation industry. His long and successful career with OCASA, spanned two decades, where he led countless projects and was responsible for driving exponential growth. Marcelo was U.S. Vice President and General Manager, and a member of the company’s Executive Committee. During his tenure with OCASA, Marcelo launched the firm's Bio-Pharmaceutical Division and several other portfolio enhancements, augmented the company’s USA footprint and presence in Europe and grew the client base to include leading firms and companies such as, JP Morgan Chase, Merck & Co, Novartis, Citibank, Skadden Arps, Booz Allen & Hamilton and the government of Spain.

Marcelo is on the board and an active member of several additional organizations including: LACREA, the National Hispanic Business Group, Helping Hands, the Westchester County Association, the Rockland Business Association, the Hudson Valley Chapter of IFMA (International Facilities Managers Association), CORENET (Corporate Real Estate Network), the New York New Jersey Minority Supplier Diversity Development Council, and the Greater New England Minority Supplier Diversity Development Council.

Vanessa Reggiardo - Director

Vanessa is a visionary, strategic business leader in the consumer products sector. Her highly successful career spans 25 years and is rooted in a relentless focus on the consumer, value creation, new business expansion and improved financial performance.

Most recently, Vanessa served as Group Vice President Global Marketing, General Manager and Corporate Officer for Avon Products. She managed billion dollar brands and portfolios, with a specialty in Asia Pacific and Latin America. Vanessa was responsible for business and category strategy, new product innovation, celebrity alliances, package design, advertising and consumer activation. During her tenure, the company grew market share globally, launched new brands and business units and increased profitability. Prior to Avon, she held senior level posts with L'Oreal USA, another iconic industry leader.

Vanessa is a passionate brand builder and new product innovator. She leverages consumer trends and insights to drive business growth and transformation. Vanessa is as agile and effective in large, complex environments as she is in smaller more entrepreneurial business settings. Her collaborative nature, creative, big picture thinking and robust process orientation make her a highly effective strategic business partner. She is an inspirational leader, compelling communicator and talent nurturer.

Vanessa is leveraging her deep functional marketing experience and general management business acumen to solidify MedX's position in the market place and grow the brand's awareness, footprint, market penetration and portfolio.

C. Douglas Dixon – Principal

C. Douglas Dixon, Esq., is an experienced business attorney with significant involvement in the handling of general corporate matters and negotiations of business transactions in a wide array of legal areas including joint ventures, purchase, sale and leasing of commercial and residential real estate properties including multiple dwellings, cooperatives, condominiums and office buildings, supply, requirements and licensing agreements, service agreements and agreements related to the acquisition and disposition of corporate assets.  

Doug served as Corporate Counsel for a large national law firm and for over 30 years he was General Counsel and Secretary to the National Minority Supplier Development Council, Inc., where he recently received that organizations prestigious service award.  He has also served as Corporate Counsel with Sterling Drug Inc., a subsidiary of the Eastman Kodak Company, where he oversaw and addressed important legal and business issues in the research and development of new products and construction and build-out of research and development facilities.

ROMEO ROBERTO ADAMS - ESQ., MS., CHE

Romeo is a results oriented professional with more than thirty-five years of increasingly responsible technical, managerial and executive positions in Health Care, Business and the Legal Profession. Romeo is currently President and Chief Executive Officer of Envirosafe Systems, Inc.

Romeo’s other recent posts include:

  • Senior Vice President, Hospital Operations and Construction Programs
  • Deputy Commissioner for Health Services, Massachusetts Department of Health
  • Chief Operating Officer/Associate Dean, University of Massachusetts Medical Center

Romeo has also held positions with New York City Health and Hospital Corporation and the Dr. Martin Luther King Comprehensive Health Care Center.

Key Accomplishments:

  • Formulated policy guidelines and developed Safety Management Programs for integration into corporate- wide Quality Assurance Program.
  • Enhanced and maintained the Corporation’s staff diversity efforts by recruiting and appointing culturally diverse hospital Executive Directors and other high level managers.
  • Introduced criteria based performance evaluations for hospital Executive Directors created a management by objectives system and results oriented corporate culture and philosophy.
  • Completed the first Occupational Health Clinic to reduce morbidity and mortality rates within the HHC employee population.
  • Increased minority and women business participation resulting in a 35% actual and projected increase of participation in a multi- year 3 billion capital construction program.
  • Maintained 200 million plus budgetary targets and operational objectives.
  • Efficiently sustained oversight responsibility for State and Federal Regulatory Divisions
  • Developed and implemented a management and quality assessment tool in the Public Health Hospital System.

MICHAEL CRAIG GRIFFITHS - DDS, MSPH, FACD, FICD, FCDI PRIVATE

Dr. Griffiths is a highly accomplished dentist, researcher, fellow, author and staunch advocate of democratizing health care. Beginning with efforts to provide coverage for the elderly during President Reagan’s administration, participation in President H.W. Bush’s health care reform beside Secretary Louis Sullivan, and President Clinton’s health care initiative efforts, he has endeavored to bring his nearly three decades of clinical practice and experiences to research and legislative efforts in order to make health care available and affordable for all.

When the Delaware State Prison health care contractor was found to be non-compliant, Dr. Griffiths was invited as a sub-contractor to assess the system and develop a method to correct the non-compliant issues. During the five years that he held the contract, he developed a Quality Assurance system entitled, the Oral Health and Treatment Status Index (OHSTI) that enabled the entire population of 10,000 to be evaluated and treated according to urgency, health status and available resources. In doing so Dr. Griffiths was able to bring the program into compliance within three months.

He has taught at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (Crown & Bridge Dentistry) and Howard University’s College of Medicine, served as the lead researcher Health Services Research, and worked as a W. K. Kellogg/ Robert Wood Johnson Fellow with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Dr. Griffiths has completed more than 100 hours of training in implant dentistry. He has been actively practicing general dentistry since 1980 in Washington, DC and is also licensed to practice in Maryland and Virginia. Dr. Griffiths is a former President of the Washington, D.C. chapter of the American Dental Association and the D.C. Division of the American Cancer Society.

Dial Hewlett Jr - MD FACP FIDSA

Dr. Hewlett is currently the Senior Medical Director, Global Product Evaluation, Global Established Pharma, Pfizer, Inc. in Collegeville, PA. Dr. Hewlett received his MD from the University of Wisconsin, Madison Wisconsin and is board certified in Internal Medicine and in the sub specialty of Infectious Diseases. He served an internal medicine internship and residency at Harlem Hospital Center - Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons in New York City. He was also selected to serve an additional year as Chief Medical resident in Internal medicine at Harlem Hospital Center. Following internal Medicine training, Dr. Hewlett went on to complete a two year clinical and research fellowship in Infectious Diseases at Montefiore and Albert Einstein Affiliated Hospitals in the Bronx, New York. .Dr. Hewlett served as the Chief of the Infectious Disease Division at Lincoln Medical & Mental Health Center in the Bronx, New York and associate Professor of clinical medicine for nine years prior to joining the pharmaceutical industry in 1996. During that time and until 2014 he served as an Infectious Disease consultant at Lawrence Hospital Bronxville, New York.

Dr. Hewlett is a fellow of the American College of Physicians, The Infectious Disease Society of America and the New York Academy of Medicine. He currently serves as a consultant in Infectious Diseases and Chair of Infection Control at Calvary Hospital in the Bronx, New York. He is also an Adjunct Associate Professor of Immunology and Microbiology at New York Medical College, Valhalla, NY.

Angela D. Rodgers - Regulatory & Accreditation

Angela is a seasoned regulatory and compliance professional. She served as the Regulatory and Accreditation Planning Liaison with Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, she successfully coordinated the completion of filing of all applications for accreditation and licensure agencies, as well as the planning, survey and educational activities related to JCAHO, DHR, DHHS, OCR, and Medicare Conditions of Participation compliance. Angela assisted the Privacy Officer with HIPAA implementation and served as liaison between all departments, clinics, HIPAA Privacy department, patients, visitors, and governmental agencies.

In her role as Director, Corporate Compliance, Angela developed and implemented policies, procedures, programs and practices to ensure the health system was in compliance with federal, state and/or local regulations and accreditation standards. She monitored applicable laws, regulations and standards that might impact the organization and provided consultation to department managers and executive staff members regarding respective compliance issues.

At MedX, Angela is a Senior Account Executive where she will be responsible for business development in the major hospitals in the Atlanta and surrounding markets.

Daniel Thurman - Chair, Management Programs, Graduate School

Daniel is a strong executive project leader, financial manager and has successfully managed medium and large financial database systems and interfaces. With his extensive financial analysis and statistical skills, Daniel has successfully developed, implemented and executed operational and financial programs with strategic focus across multiple organization and business units. The programs Daniel has implemented ensured compliance with established legal, regulatory and appropriate agency/organization policies, procedures and requirements.

William Such - Retired CEO

William Such retired as the CEO of Wesley Woods Long Term Hospital. He has had a long and successful career in materials management, as well as the hospital, healthcare and medical fields. William has held various positions with the Wesley Woods Center of Emory University.

William is proudly affiliated with several prestigious healthcare organizations and societies including the Wesley Woods Center Board, American Hospital Association, Emory Healthcare Inc., Georgia Hospital Association and the Council on Psychiatric & Chemical Dependence Hospitals.
